Housing Program

Beacon of Hope offers permanent supportive housing for low income and homeless families and singles with mental health disorders and/or disabilities. We offer affordable leases within the client’s budget in single families and shared living units in the Baltimore City vicinity. Supportive services are provided to improve the quality of life for the residents. Supportive housing includes teaching independent living and other skills sets for the clients to retain housing. Staff will make routine visits for supportive services.

Services offered include, but are not limited to:

  • Permanent supportive housing with rent subsidies
  • Comprehensive supportive services
  • Housing counseling

Do I have to be a client to receive permanent housing with your organization?

Yes. Residents have to be enrolled in at least one of our programs; outpatient mental health services, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program-PRP, Outpatient Alcohol and Other Drugs treatment.

Does your organization offer emergency housing?

No. We offer permanent housing. We assist our clients to find emergency housing and shelter placements as well as assistance with completing any required paperwork.

Where is your permanent housing located?

Presently, our housing program serves clients in the Baltimore Metropolitan area.
